Sales Manager Primary Function: Sell the hotel by building personal relationships with corporate clients, and by taking sales initiatives to develop new business. Duties: Provide courteous, attentive efficient and personal service to guests and associates. Implement the marketing plan for the hotel and follow the expense budget. Open new accounts, book group room nights and follow through on details. Understand and implement yield management strategies to maximize revenues. Efficiently negotiate with clients and give tours of the hotel. Make outside calls and conduct presentations to existing and potential clients. Attend outside functions to solicit, network and promote new business. Work as Manager On Duty (MOD) shifts on weekends, occasionally. Train, motivate, coach and supervise the hotel staff. Concierge Primary Function: To greet and warmly welcome all arriving guests, promptly register them or settle their bills, be their resource and process all transactions accurately and promptly. Night Butler/Bellman Primary Function: Provide our guests with the finest and most preferred hotel experience. Duties: Provide courteous, attentive, efficient and personal service to guests and associates. Lock and count valet cars and lock garage. Walk all guests floors and collect shoes for shinning and check for pressing needs. Collect breakfast menus from doorknobs and record requests on the call sheet. Deliver newspapers to occupied rooms by 6:00 am. Deliver shined shoes to guest rooms by 5:30 am. Prepare and deliver all 24 hour Room Service items as ordered.
